Molina Healthcare (“Molina”) today announced the appointment of Brian Maddy as plan president of Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin, following the retirement of Scott Johnson.
Maddy brings decades of leadership experience in the health care industry, with a dedicated focus on meeting provider needs and serving members. Most recently he served as chief strategy officer for the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OU Health), the state’s leading academic health system, and was formerly CEO for OU Physicians. His combined leadership roles drove significant business growth while improving access and quality for patients. Maddy also led the development of collaborative partnerships between physicians and hospitals, creating clinically integrated networks that increased patient access and delivered improved quality outcomes.
“Brian shares Molina’s unwavering dedication to not only serving Wisconsin’s health care needs, but also to helping address health care gaps that may exist due to socioeconomic factors throughout the state,” said Marc Russo, executive vice president of health plans of Molina Healthcare. “We are confident Brian will continue the effective and principled leadership that Scott Johnson established in his eight years of service.”
“I am proud to have served with Molina’s dedicated and skilled team,” said Scott Johnson, retiring president of Molina Healthcare of Wisconsin. “And I know Brian Maddy will enjoy the full support of our team and our state partners.”
