Molina Healthcare Appoints Brian Maddy Plan President of Oklahoma Operations

Molina Healthcare (“Molina” or “Company”) today announced the appointment of Brian Maddy as plan president of Molina Healthcare of Oklahoma as the Company continues to build its commitment to the state’s Medicaid program.

A long-time Oklahoman, Maddy brings decades of leadership experience in the health care industry and a strong commitment to supporting underserved populations. Most recently he served as chief strategy officer for OU Health, Oklahoma’s leading academic health system, and was formerly CEO for OU Physicians, the faculty practice for OU Health. His combined leadership roles drove significant business growth while improving access and quality for patients. Maddy also led the development of collaborative partnerships between physicians and hospitals creating clinically integrated networks that increased patient access and delivered improved quality outcomes.

As CEO for OU Physicians, Maddy led an 1100 provider group practice, 72 clinical sites, and a staff of 1300. Concurrently, he served as president of Academic Physicians Insurance Company, a Vermont captive insurance company. While CEO, Maddy assisted in developing innovative initiatives to improve patient and provider experience resulting in OU Health becoming a recognized national leader.

Maddy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, and is a May 2021 candidate for a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma. He is a former board member of several organizations benefitting public health including executive chair of Heartland Health, Oklahoma’s largest Medicaid MCO. Maddy was also chief of staff for the Oklahoma Senate where he served as the lead policy advisor in the creation of the state’s current Medicaid program.
