This summer, Dole is taking its DOLE Fruit Bowls All Natural Fruit in 100% Juice on the road to give consumers an opportunity to sample the new product and celebrate summer by visiting a fun, brightly colored traveling Fruit Stand. The first-ever “DOLE Fruit Bowls Across America Road Trip” will launch on June 28 in New York City, and will travel to 12 cities across the U.S., concluding in San Diego during the BlogHer conference in early August. Other stops along the way include Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, New Orleans, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
At each stop, visitors can take a break from their day and enjoy refreshing DOLE Fruit in 100% juice at a “pop-up” traveling fruit stand. Visitors get more than a free sample—they will also get an opportunity to help support local food banks all across the country. Through its national partnership with Feeding America, the country’s leading domestic hunger-relief organization, Dole aims to give 250,000 cups to families in need. For every visitor who gets a Fruit Bowls sample or checks in at the traveling Fruit Stand, Dole will donate Fruit Bowls in 100% Juice to a Feeding America food bank in that city. Dole’s road trip will help make healthy, delicious all natural fruit in 100% juice accessible to everyone.
Consumers who cannot make it to a Road Trip event will not miss out on an opportunity to share Fruit Bowls with children and families in need. They can trigger a donation to Feeding America’s national network of food banks by liking Dole’s Facebook page, accessing the “DOLE Fruit Bowls Across America Road Trip” tab, and simply clicking a “Give” button.
